Bread made with Gracey Starter


So... that bread that I made. Did it work? Oooh, I don't know. I guess the problem is that I'm already breaking the rules by only using whole wheat flour. And also keeping the dough in the fridge, so there's not a hell of a lot of rising going on. Also my knife wasn't sharp enough for slashing the tops. And while the loaves at least look nice and rounded on this side...


Hmmphh. I'm pretty sure they're not supposed to split on the side like that. Even so, it's still bread. I'd say the starter at least worked. Now maybe I should work on getting the recipe right to do it some justice.
