I ate a $15 piece of lasagne today, at Marcello on Commercial Drive. But damn it was good. Now I know what lasagne is supposed to taste like. I didn't know before.
Dinner: frozen pizza. I've cooked enough lately! (Two days in a row!) And I double-baked my leftover chocolate soufflé for dessert. It occurred to me that I could have made some chocolate sauce and whipped cream to accompany and it would have been amazing. But it also occurred to me that I could just eat it, and be quite happy.
