
Sorry . . . this blog might be about to get boring and repetitive. I've discovered that it's possible to be lazy AND eat healthy at the same time. Who knew? Tonight's salad consisted of, again, red cabbage, celery, green onions, radishes and carrots, and avocado, chicken, Asiago and toasted sunflower seeds. Dressing: lemon juice, olive oil, honey, dijon mustard, salt and pepper.
Other secrets to deliciousness in salads:
• cheeeeeese
• add protein, such as chicken or smoked salmon or egg
• if adding nuts or seeds (see yesterday's secret to deliciousness), toast them (about 5 minutes at 200°F)
