
Friday -- We stopped in Port Alberni in the midst of a yacht rock radio marathon for what else -- pizza -- at Boston Pizza.

We ate in the car as we made our way across the dark and stormy winding roads of Vancouver Island.


A little unoaked Chardonnay and Chèvréponge (Setareh's homemade goat's milk sponge cake) for a nightcap at the Whalers on the Point Guesthouse in Tofino.
