Leftovers; Meringue Fail

Leftover braised beef with pasta. Also. Question: Can you make meringues using a blender? Answer: Not with my blender, anyway. I'm guessing it has something to do with the way the motor overheats and starts to basically cook whatever it is you're blending. In any case, tonight I made . . . "chocolate chip meringue bark."

  1. meringues are one of the hardest things to bake (in my opinion) yet they seem simple. The key is to not over mix, and you need to get quite a bit of air in them to make them fluffy and delicious.

    Let me know if you ever want to attempt pie dough!
